Today we're excited to announce that New York Time's bestselling author C.J. Redwine will be bringing her readers two more books in her popular Ravenspire series: a series of dark epic fantasy stand alone novels inspired by fairy tales.

Here's what critics are saying about the Ravenspire series, which currently includes THE SHADOW QUEEN and THE WISH GRANTER:
“Satisfying fare for fantasy fans.” (Kirkus Reviews)

“A welcome feminist revision of the classic fairy tale.” (School Library Journal)

“A gripping additon to the retelling genre.” (Marissa Meyer, New York Times bestselling author of the Lunar Chronicles)

“Filled with complex characters, imaginative and horrible consequences, and sharp twists (Booklist)

“An action-packed retelling of “Snow White”...Great fun” (School Library Journal)

“A fully imagined fairy tale landscape.” (Publishers Weekly)

We're excited to have more books in the series! Here's a copy of the deal announcement made today in Publisher's Lunch:

NYT bestselling author C.J. Redwine's books 3 & 4 in the Ravenspire series, the first of which centers on a determined prince who must fight in a gladiator-style competition to unseat the imposter who's taken his place and is pitched as inspired by The Prince and the Pauper; the second, scheduled for Winter 2019, draws from the Cinderella fairy tale, with a heroine who takes over her father's role as the queen's alchemist and discovers a conspiracy that requires her to save the life of the prince she despises, to Kristin Daly Rens at Balzer & Bray, in a two-book deal, for publication in Winter 2018 & Winter 2019, by Holly Root at Waxman Leavell Literary Agency (NA).

We can't wait for more fairy tale retellings in this series! If you haven't yet read THE SHADOW QUEEN or THE WISH GRANTER, you can find more info and links to buy here: https://cjredwine.blogspot.com/p/books.html
